In Kairana Lok Sabha seat itself, EVM machines were found faulty at many booths, due to which the elections were disrupted for several hours. Kairana SP candidate Iqra Hasan also complained to the District Election Officer regarding this and also demanded separate time for this.

Samajwadi Party has shared this information through tweet. It was written in the tweet that there is information about EVM machine malfunctioning at booth number 46 in Shamli of Kairana Lok Sabha. The Election Commission should take action and ensure fair voting.

The people of Kairana who were voting have complained about the officials present at the polling station.

In the complaint, the people of Kairana said that the officials present at the polling station are checking the Voter ID as well as the Aadhaar card. Some Muslim women are being checked by lifting their burqas. In fact, these officials are slowing down the voting in the name of investigation.
