Police has exposed a dreaded serial killer in Bareilly
district of Uttar Pradesh. Prima facie the serial killer is being described as
mentally deranged, but police has started investigation and this case will be
exposed as soon as possible.
Prima facie the name of the serial killer has been caught by the police as Kuldeep Gangwar Prakash and along with this the police has also released sketches of 3 more suspected criminals. He used to stop women in deserted areas. He used to ask them to have sex. If they refused, he used to strangle them with a dupatta or sari and kill them. The dead body was lying in the field, jewelry was missing. On this pattern, 9 women were murdered in 50 km area within 7 months. All had the same pattern.

Bareilly police named it "Operation Talaash". 22 teams were formed for this. CCTV cameras were installed and
it is being told that for this the police has seen the footage of 1500 CCTVs. 600 new CCTVs were installed. Suspect
data was searched from 1.5 lakh mobile numbers. Police was
deployed with body worn cameras in the guise of common people. Then the serial
killer Kuldeep Gangwar was caught.
