Flight IC814 from Kathmandu to Delhi was hijacked by 5 terrorists of Harkat-ul-Mujahideen on 24 December 1999. In exchange for releasing the people on board the plane, the Indian government released 3 terrorists.

These three terrorists were Masood Azhar, Ahmed Omar Saeed and Mushtaq Ahmed Zargar. These terrorists were caught during the Congress government. The Congress government arrested him and put him in jail and was trying to make him confess.

 

These terrorists also had secrets of Indian leaders, they knew about the leader who had used them to spread terror in India and these three dangerous terrorists were taken from India by the BJP government and released in Kandahar.

 

Now the story of the flight IC814.

 

This flight IC814 stopped in Punjab for 45 minutes. Coincidentally, at that time there was a BJP and its allied party government in Punjab. These terrorists were treated well in this state, no action was taken here. Now when the plane took off from here, flight IC814 reached Kandahar directly. The terrorists reached their destination safely.

It is mentioned in the documents of the Indian government that in this hijacking that lasted for 7 days, these terrorists used to call each other by code names - Chief, Doctor, Burger, Bhola and Shankar. After investigation, their real names were Ibrahim Akhtar, Shahid Akhtar Saeed, Sunny Ahmed Qazi, Zahoor Mistry and Shakir and all of them were residents of Pakistan.

 

What happened after these terrorists were released....

 

After the terrorists were released, those three dreaded terrorists and their terrorist organizations attacked the Parliament in 2001. This was their first attack on India. After this, in 2002, journalist Daniel Pearl was kidnapped and killed. Then in the year 2008, Mumbai was attacked. After this, in the year 2016, Pathankot was attacked and in 2019, these people carried out the heinous terrorist attack in Pulwama.

 

Conclusion...

Congress caught the terrorists and BJP released them. The simple people of India suffered for this.
