Senior Congress leader Manu Singhvi met Election Commission
with Maharashtra Congress team. News of the meeting lasted for hours has come
to the fore. Recently Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024 have been completed, talks have been held regarding that.
Mainly the essential changes that have come up in Maharashtra
between Lok Sabha elections and Assembly elections. There is news of talks with
Election Commission regarding the same. There is a gap of five to six months
between these two elections.
In the 2024
Assembly elections of Maharashtra, Congress people believe that the elections
have not been fair. Some errors are being seen in the elections it can be
clarified with the data. Want to clear this, have met the Election Commission
regarding the same and have requested the Election Commission to share the
data.
Mun Singhvi told the press that three incidents have happened
between the Lok Sabha elections and this Maharashtra assembly election, which
is five to six months away.
First, lakhs of old voters were suddenly removed from the
voting list. Their names were deleted from the voting list.
Second, between these two elections, Lok Sabha and
Maharashtra assembly elections, that is, within five to six months, about 46 lakh new voters were added.
And, thirdly, there has been an increase of about 25,000 polling in 118 assembly seats of Maharashtra. The special thing is that there is also news that the ruling party has won more than its capacity on these 118 assembly seats. All these changes have happened after the completion of Lok Sabha elections 2024 and before the Maharashtra Assembly elections 2024, which is five to six months away.
