Rupee is falling against the dollar day by day.
Rupee is falling against the dollar day by day. It is falling
continuously. Since Narendra Modi Ji became the Prime Minister, the rupee has
not risen even for a day. It is falling continuously. It is not that Modi Ji
does not try to stop the falling rupee. He definitely tries, but the rupee has
become so weak in character that it likes to fall.
Let me tell you that when the British left the country, our
rupee was at 3.31 rupees against 1 dollar. After which, the Congress and Lalu
Ji supported government of BJP's Atal Ji and Dr. Manmohan Singh got the rupee
to 45 in 2004 and in 2007, he strengthened the rupee and took it to 41.
Amidst the global financial crisis and economic depression of
2008, the Indian rupee again fell to 48. In 2012, when the Taper tantrum
happened and the emerging market currency started falling, the rupee fell from
58 to around 69. But within 4 months, Lalu and Congress' Manmohan Singh
government brought the rupee back from 69 to 58.
The current Prime Minister Narendra Modi got the rupee at
58.4 from Lalu and Congress' Manmohan Singh government. Modi ji has taken it to
87. He never allowed the rupee to rise. During Narendra Modi's tenure, the
rupee has fallen by 50% against the dollar.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been expressing concern
about the rupee not just today but ever since Dr. Manmohan Singh was the Prime
Minister of India. He has been trying to stop the falling rupee. Modi loves the
rupee very much. He loves the rupee so much that he did not want to see it
fall.
When Modi ji was not the Prime Minister, whenever the rupee fell, Modi would get very angry. He would express concern. At that time, he would taunt Manmohan Singh's government over the falling rupee and would say that the rupee does not fall like this, my friends, it is not the rupee that has fallen, it is the character of the government that has fallen! But the poor rupee would listen silently!
