If a devotee falls sick, there is no transport facility to take him to the medical. One has to walk to get medical facilities. This means that if the pilgrims fall sick on the way to take a bath in the Ganga, they cannot get medical facilities. Due to this, news has come that some people have died on the way.

No administrative arrangements have been made to control the unruly people in Maha Kumbh. People are taking the Maha Kumbh bath on their own. People sleep and rest here and there by spreading their blankets and plastic over them. This is the life of Maha Kumbh pilgrims.
