A Dalit community labourer has been murdered by Thakur community.
It is reported that in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, a labourer who belongs to the Dalit community has been murdered because he refused to carry a load of wheat.
The person who did this is said to be from the Thakur community and a member of the same caste as Chief Minister Yogi ji.
The murder of a Dalit labourer is so gruesome and frightening for the labour community and creating fear among Dalits that it cannot be described.
You and I can guess that after that incident, an atmosphere of terror has been created among Dalits and other oppressed classes who work as labourers for several kilometres around the site of the incident. People are very scared.
After this incident, Uttar Pradesh opposition Samajwadi Party President and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has expressed strong reaction. He has expressed deep condolences.
Akhilesh Yadav said in his comment that “by carrying out such an incident before Baba Saheb's birth anniversary, some powerful people want to give a message of their power to the society. They are negative and tyrannical people suffering from a sick thinking protected by the power.
He further said that does anyone have the moral strength and energy left to send a bulldozer to the house of those powerful criminal elements or they have surrendered before the criminals and have become cold.”
